the 13th Annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction has been an unforgettable event.
The Queens of this exhibition has been the Mustangs, with a very good presence of Cars and Collectibles related to our favorite car. The auction was punctuated by growth: a 90% increase in automobilia sales, 30% increase in attendance and 28% increase in number of bidders. Most importantly, the auction resulted in an impressive sell-through rate of over 98 percent. We could say that USA economy is back on the top of the Hill? We think so!

Cars for a Cause
This year the Charity Causes are one of the key-themes of many car auctions. We are more than happy to see that increasing of sensitivity from the car collecting community. Seven charity vehicles crossed the auction block, including one boat. In a great demonstration of how cars can help charity and increase awareness, $966,000 was raised for worthy causes across the nation.

Ford Mustangs
Ford Performance Group & Roush bringed to the Show their line-up masterpiece.
Starting from Ford Performance, with one of the 100 Shelby GT350 and one of the 20 GT350R that will be produced before the end of 2015. This two cars where absolutely head-turning. The Black GT 350R, looked like a Night Demon. Fantastic!
Roush Performance Group Was Exhibiting a stunning 630 HP Red Stage 3(that has been used for their last video), and a Blue STAGE 3. There were also 2 Engines, with sections, that will show better ho the new engine and the new supercharger works!

2007 Shelby GT500 “Super Snake” Coupè (Lot #478)
This GT500 was upgraded in 2009 to full Super Snake specs, including a 725hp supercharged engine, Shelby-tuned chassis and full Super Snake appearance enhancements. Starting with the engine, the factory supercharger was replaced with a fully polished Kenne Bell supercharger and Shelby tune. The engine compartment is detailed with billet trim that is embossed with the Super Snake logo and a cold-air intake. The 5.4-liter SC 4V V8 engine exhales through a Borla cat-back exhaust system and is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. Interior is equipped with black leather sport bucket seats with embossed Cobra logo and CSM serial plates. More Super Snake logos adorn the exterior, along with 40th Anniversary badges. A functional Super Snake fiberglass hood, side scoops, a rear decklid spoiler, rear window louvers and carbon-fiber trim. The GT500 Premier Trim Package includes black Shelby stripes and 20″ Alcoa aluminum Super Snake wheels. Clean CARFAX. Showing 2731 miles on odometer. Comes with original Window Sticker, original Super Snake Certificate and owner’s manual. It has been sold for $68.200,00.

2007 Shelby GT500 “Super Snake” Convertible (Lot #477)
Shipped to Shelby American in 2009, this 2007 Shelby GT500 convertible received a full Super Snake package, including a boost in output to more than 600hp. The supercharged 5.4-liter engine is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. The color combination is white with black Shelby stripes and a black soft-top over a black leather interior with sport bucket seats. The twin-scoop fiberglass Super Snake hood is functional. Additional external features include a rear decklid spoiler, light bar, carbon-fiber rocker trim, engine detail kit with billet fluid caps and dipstick, and GT500 Premier Trim Package. The interior features black leather sport bucket seats with embossed logos and CSM plates. The chassis is upgraded with Shelby-tuned suspension and Alcoa Super Snake logo aluminum 20″ wheels. This one-owner, 379-original-mile car has a clean CARFAX and a Framed original Window Sticker signed by Carroll Shelby and Bill Ford, original Super Snake Certificate and owner’s manual. It has been Sold $71.500,00.

2009 Shelby GT500 KR(Lot #399)
2009 Shelby GT500 KR powered by a 5.4-liter FI DOHC 32V supercharged V8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. Less than 300 Silver Metallic with blue stripe GT500 KRs were built in 2009. The King of the Road cars started life as GT500s, which were then delivered to Shelby American for further performance and styling upgrades. One of the KR’s most prominent features is the carbon-fiber twin-scoop hood with racing hood pins. The weight reduction from the use of carbon fiber is not to be ignored. This car features the GT500 Premier Trim package that includes Shelby stripes and rear spoiler, as well as rear window louvers and the more performance-oriented Alcoa forged aluminum 18″ wheels. The interior features gray leather sport bucket seats with embossed Cobra logo, as well as navigation and a BOSE audio system. This car was purchased new with the Shelby Automotive KR package installed before titling and carries the CSM dash plaque. The KR Cobra badging is found throughout the vehicle, including the grille, fenders, steering wheel, seats and headrests, tail, etc. The combination of a powerful engine, chassis and visual presence makes the Shelby GT500 KR a true collectible. This particular Shelby GT500 KR has less than 20 original miles. This is a one-owner vehicle showing 23 miles on the odometer. Comes with original window sticker and owner’s manual. It has been sold for $71,500.00.

1967 Ford Mustang Custom Fastback (Lot #386)
This car is a beautiful professional rotisserie custom restoration. Black with silver stripe and black interior. Ford Motorsport 392ci new crate motor with 430hp and 2,800 miles on build, Hooker ceramic coated headers, Demon 750 carburetor, new Ford Motorsport T-5 transmission, Painless Wiring chassis harness, Fuel Safe fuel cell, Holley electric fuel pump, Griffin aluminum radiator, Maier Racing complete suspension package including panhard bar and brace, racing springs front and rear, sub-frame connectors, lower control arms, front and rear sway bars, and Bilstein shocks, Baer vented and slotted oversized disc brakes, PSE original GT 40 wheels, console with Carroll Shelby signature and correct logo, Carroll Shelby Signature Auto Meter instrument gauges, Scat racing seats, G-Force 5-point cam lock racing seatbelts and rollbar. It has been sold for $67.100,00.

1967 FORD MUSTANG CUSTOM FASTBACK (Lot #427)
This car has recently been completed. There are only a few hundred break-in miles to get everything fine-tuned. It has been lengthened and widened with a rib down the middle of the car from the front to the back. The engine has a NASCAR-style, back-set set-up. It has a custom front end featuring tri-bar halogen headlamps in custom buckets, PIAA projector driving lights and black anodized aluminum grille. Custom hood with flush locks and smoothed underside with full carbon-fiber inner fender and radiator covers. Aluminum radiator, transmission cooler, Shelby 427 aluminum bored and stroked by Keith Kraft to 527/750hp big block V8 engine, 3×2 500cfm carburetors, polished aluminum oval air cleaner and polished aluminum tri-power intake manifold. Custom-made snakeskin black anodized finned valve covers, MSD coil, distributor and plug wires, March billet serpentine drive belt system, billet pulleys, polished aluminum air conditioning compressor, chrome alternator, aluminum oil pan, ceramic-coated exhaust headers and stainless braided lines throughout. Tubular front A-arms, Wilwood 16″ cross-drilled and slotted rear disc brakes and Wilwood 6-piston rear brake calipers, braided stainless steel brake lines and an adjustable air ride coilover front/rear suspension. Tremec T-600 6-speed transmission. Dual exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers, custom side exit exhaust tips, aluminum drive shaft, custom drive shaft loop, Currie 9″ narrowed rear end, adjustable 4-link, fully tubbed rear. Shaved doors with Kindig It Design smooth door handles and bullet side mirrors. Trunk houses air ride air compressor, accumulator tank and dual batteries. Quarter window side body scoops, flush mount custom gas filler cap, Shelby-style rear deck lid with spoiler, and Shelby taillights tucked, smoothed and painted to match rear bumper. Outstanding, show-quality black exterior paint. The interior features custom billet and leather door panels, leather upholstered padded dash, carbon-fiber dash, Wilwood brakes and clutch pedals, Lokar billet gas pedal, indigo blue on carbon-fiber Dakota Digital VHX analog gauges, Dakota Digital center console with USB jack, indicator panel, custom upholstered leather interior with contrasting white stitching, custom windshield visors, custom embossed headliner with accent lighting, custom upholstered leather bucket seats, Hurst floor shifter and polished air conditioning. Air Ride Technologies programmable suspension system, power windows and custom billet door sills. It has been sold for $110.000,00.

1966 FORD MUSTANG CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE(Lot #138)
This beautiful, professional custom restoration includes a 289ci V8 engine rebuilt .20 over. Mild cam, Edelbrock 600 CFM 4-barrel, cast-iron headers. Upgraded Shelby performance parts, such as 4-piston manual front disc brakes. Shelby fiberglass hood with steel brace inserts, Cobra 4-blade fan, 1966 Cobra valve covers, correct Cobra 4-barrel aluminum intake and Shelby traction master ride traction. Over $20,000 in receipts just for new parts. The exterior is PPG Deltron Candy Red Patriot Pearl paint. New front and rear bumpers, bumper guards, NOS 1966 grille and all new emblems. 1966 Magnum 500 wheels with Shelby center caps. New Hartz canvas tan convertible top matching the tan tape stripes. The interior has many new upgrades including carpet, door panels, door handles, instruments bezel, glove box door and NOS shifter bezel. Custom embroidered cobra mats and new Motolita Cobra steering wheel. All interior metal surfaces restored to the original Parchment color. Many other new items included in the interior restoration. Nothing was untouched. This Car Has Been Sold For $41.800,00.

1965 FORD MUSTANG CUSTOM FASTBACK(Lot #164)
This Mustang is a real “A code GT Fastback gone a serious transformation. The fuel injected 360ci stroker motor was built to hold over 900hp. Its intricate hand made twin turbo system. Please take a close look at this engine compartment pictures and to acknowledge the amount of work, labor and fabrication that has gone into to this open check book build. The tubing and piping was handmade around the twin Garrett T04B ball bearing turbos. Every line throughout the car is steel braded and V clamped. Custom fabricated twin intercoolers and air intake system along with a sheetmetal intake. The engine is more than capable of 850-900hp but is at conservative at 600hp for street use. Engine and transmission oil-coolers mounted in the inner fender well with auxiliary fans. Aluminum radiator with twin auxiliary fans. Full mandrel bent exhaust out the back with an electric cut out conjoined by an x-pipe. The 6-speed tremec transmission shifts flawlessly and is mated to be stage 3 clutch with a lightweight flywheel. Custom fabricated 9” 31 spline rear axle with Auburn Pro posi-traction and chromoly axle tubes. This Has Been Sold For $62.700,00.
