MUSTANGMANIA INVADED MUSTANG FEVER 2019: DAY 3,sunday
DAY 3: ENGLISH, QUEUEING, MUSTANGS, GERMANS AND FOLLOWERS
We decided to met at 10:30 a.m., but everybody was around the reception earlier.
We created some enjoyable sound during our regroup in front of the hotel; people went out from the houses to take pictures, or simply stopped nearby.
We created a 14-long cars line, direction Mustang Fever. In the meantime, my Phone rang: It was Jorg, a friend of mine ( and a Ford dealer) that was heading a group of 20 cars coming from Germany “Fabrizio, will you be at the show today?” “Yes Jorg, i am coming”. After few stops for refilling fuel tanks and taking pictures, we reached Zolder. And we joined a massive traffic queue.
It was the very first time in my life i was happy to be in the traffic: we were surrounded by mustang!
In 25 minutes we were parking inside the event. The day before i got a message on my facebook page from Magalie, one of my most active followers ( i will never get used to be a guy that has followers..) that said she will be at the event. I sent her my picture “if you see me around, this is me!”, We met for a chat, with the promise to meet again in the future to other events.
In the meantime, Jorg and his brother, with their two sons, joined me, and we made a tour of all the exposed cars; some of them where extremely rare, other more customized: there was a “slice of cake for every mouth”!
Time flown out, and i have to come back to Halle. I said bye bye to everybody, and jumped in Claire for our last trip togheter on the Belgian Highway.
I reached home in Italy, in the evening, exhausted. After a quick shower, i felt asleep near the love of my life: my daughter Sophie.
I was happy twice: happy to spend a night with her, and happy for the amazing trip i have done.
There is nothing more special in life to meet people that shares with you the same passion and motivation.
What a great event!
