We took the hard decision to wait the release of the Ford Mustang Saleen 302 Black Label, Before we introduced you the all new Saleen Line-up. This is the last precious gem coming out from the mind of Steve Saleen.

Introduced to the pubblic during a one of a kind special event in Downtown L.A. the 20th of March 2015, this car completely turn upside down the lines of the new 2015 Ford Mustang, in a very cool way! Let us explain you how..we begin from the exterior!

EXTERIOR

The car is 1,5 inch. longer in the front and 2 inch. in the back, to improve the aerodynamics.But Saleen decided to go further, creating a new front-end, As Galpin Motorsport and Roush industries has done before him. A New bumper withheadlights, a custom front grill, and a carbon fiber chin spoiler put this car closer to the ground; A custom hood with a functional hood scoop( As far as we know, the hood scoop grille opens when you hit the gas. So cool!) closes the lists of the mods done ath the front. For what concerns the side of the car, the first thing that come to a trained eye is the carbon fiber side scoops, lower than the stock ones and with a different design, and the Saleen fender badges. Moving to the back of the car we could note  the rear spoiler, the black decklid, that covers one of the 3 sections of the tail light on both sides, and a bigger carbon fiber read diffuser, with Saleen mufflers a Nice set of 5 spoke 20″ rims (275/35R20 tires in the front, 275/40R20 in the back) closes the exterior changes of this beauty.

INTERIOR

The interior is a mix of luxury and styling with black leather and suede seats accented in contrasting chevrons. A high contrast gauge cluster provides key vitals to the driver at a glance. Harking back to Saleen’s racing heritage is a leather wrapped steering wheel with controls for audio and the center stack display between the gauges. Unique badging finishes off the interior that includes a dash plaque signifying year of manufacture and serial number of each vehicle.

PERFORMANCE

The 5.0 liters Coyote engine, in the 3 different stages, could reach the following performances:

The car will be available with a 6 speed manual transmission ( rearend ratios available: 3.31, 3.55, 3.73) or a paddle-shifted six-speed automatic  (rearend ratios: 3.15, 3.55).

This car is Outfitted with Saleen S4 springs, shocks, swaybars, and bushings, this setup offers complete performance and handling for both on and off the track. Brake discs measure 13.9 inches in front and 13.0 inches in back, clamped by four-piston front and single-piston rear calipers. Drilled and slotted 15.0-inch front rotors with six-piston calipers are a $3300 upgrade, and for another $500, the rear discs will grow to 14.0 inches with four-piston calipers.
