 When We visited Michigan, We had a special preview inside Watson Racing. During that special tour, My friend Matteo Felt in love with the Cobra Jet. Built to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the very first Cobra Jet(1968), these beatiful drag-race-ready car, code name FR500CJ(From the Ford Racing 500 cars series) .

IT is powered by a 5.4-liter Cobra Jet engine making about 428 hp, due to restrictions linked to its Racing category. It also features a Cobra Jet cold air kit, 6-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission with SFI bell housing, stainless steel long-tube racing headers, 9″ rear axle assembly, one piece driveshaft drive shaft, single hoop drive shaft loop, Cobra Jet rear control arms and anti-roll bar, Ford Racing adjustable dampers, drag race spring kit and Cobra Jet wheels — 15″ x 4″ (front), 15″ x 10″ (rear). IT is roughly 200 pounds lighter than a stock S-197.

Only 50 Of These car have been built.
