This year were made 671 Coupe Roush & 77 Convertibles.
STAGE 1, STAGE 2, STAGE 3
Roush continues the philosophy of previous years. Unlike 2011, the STAGE 1 returns to be the first step to enter in the Roush Olympus ; Then come the STAGE 2, complete with trim, brakes and improved graphics; The STAGE 3 adds only the supercharger to a car ready for the track!
Units built:
-STAGE 1: 69 coupes & 12 convertibles;
-STAGE 2: 126 coupes & 10 convertibles;
– STAGE 3: 365 coupes & 53 convertibles;
– STAGE 3 CANADA: only 2 coupes;
– GCC(Export UAE version) STAGE 3: pnly 15 coupes.
STAGE 3 PREMIER EDITION
ROUSH and Sherwin-Williams “recreate the definition of Detroit Muscle” with the new 2012 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition.
The car was presented at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas November 2, 2011 by Jack Roush himself. The new model presents a unique selection of colors Sherwin-Williams Planet Color– 12 in all:

Jet Stream
Liquid Copper
Luminescent Lime
Mat It Mango
Mean Green
Motor City Iron
Performance Pearl
Red Blooded American
Sin City Silver
This premier line shows a quality never seen due to the presence of reflective flakes in it and also it is applied by hand in three layers, the whole thing takes place in the painting which is located within the plant in Livonia, MI. The vehicle also has a wide range of other premium features, including painted stripes, Premier Edition side badges, interior elements, as well as the power and suspension enhancements that you would expect from a ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang.
“Stage 3 premier edition” were produced:
– 15 stage 3 premier edition coupe
– 1 convertible.
STAGE 3 HYPER SERIES
Lively. Tireless. Active. Fierce. Excited. The design team vehicle performance Roush continues to build on their theme of DETROIT MUSCLE redefined with the launch of a limited quantity of Roush Stage 3 (RS3) mustang rightly defined as the hyper-series.
The compressor 2.3L ROUSHcharger® installed ensures well almost 540 hp and 800Nm of torque! The engine works in concert with the ROUSH calibrated suspension that lowers the Mustang by almost one centimeter, and allows the vehicle to pull over 1G of lateral force on a dry skid pad. Discharge of ROUSH Performance offers a throaty growl that wants to let know to everyone that you are piloting a real Detroit muscle car.
The Hyper-Series is based on power and driveability of the ROUSH Stage 3, offering a series of four limited edition packages. “The 2012 RS3 Mustang has been a big hit with our customers and fans. Not only for power and handling, but also because of the 288 graphics and paint color combinations that you can select”, says Gary Jurick, VP and Director General Manager of ROUSH Performance. “The Hyper-Series introduces spectacular and unique graphics and interior colors that provide a customized appearance to the RS3.”
Each 2012 RS3 Hyper-Series Mustang comes standard with black body paint as base. The range of colors Hyper-Series includes four color options: “Mat It Mango”, “Gas It Green”, “Punch is purple”, and “launch Lemon”. For model year 2012, ROUSH have been built only twenty-five vehicles of each color. The vehicles will be serialized as ROUSH certified builds, and will be numbered according to their point of production for each color. (Es: “Vehicle # 12 of 25 – Mat It Mango”).
It is produced only 79 STAGE 3 Hyper coupe and a only 1 convertible.
