The European Pony Wars 2015, 19th-20th September 2015
Best ideas came out in many different ways.
I saw many different videos and pictures of the Steeda pony wars in the USA.
I always been gealous of this massive Mustang meeting.
One evening at the end of July, i received a phone call from Filippo Mirabella, the son of the unforgotten president of the Mustang Club of Italy, Salvo Mirabella.
He explained to me that the Mustang Club of Malta was doing a tour in a Europe, visiting many different countries; Filippo asked me:”could We do something for give them a warm welcome?”. After several phone calls, One dinner and several beers We found the solution: let’s do something bigger than a warm Welcome. Let’s set up the European Pony Wars!
5 European Clubs + mustangmania.it involved, 80 cars in 2 days, 2 Fantastic location, and a huge support from Ford Italy: this was a recepit for the success!

For the first day We have chosen One of the coolest place in Milan: The Tank.
The Tank is a temporary pub/club/restaurant located in the heart of Milan, in Piazzale Lodi; the place was an old train deposit. The name Tank came from the construction materials used: old refurbished containers; inside these containers, you could find shops, pubs, cocktail bars, street food, design shops and so on. We have been able to literally fill this place with 40 Ford Mustangs, from different years and countries. After a nice couple of Aperitifs, we spent all the night sharing stories about mustangs…But we ran away like Cinderella, because we knew that the day after will be very intense!

Try to imagine: one of the most exclusive Italian Circuit; 43 mustangs; 3 Ford Mustang 2015 available for soft and hard Test drives; A wonderful location, completely at your disposal. You can do whatever you want. Done? Fantastic, you even don’t have a roughly idea of how cool was this day!
We met in the early morning at Vairano, near Milan, one of the most popular Italian circuit dedicated to cars tests and Safe driving school; This circuit is also a Partner with the oldest and most famous Italian Magazine dedicated to the automotive world: QUATTRORUOTE.
The Morning has been dedicated to the test drives of the new Ford Mustang 2015. Journalists and common enthusiasts shared cars, opinions and pictures. At noon we made a massive mustang parade inside the race track, to guarantee to our photographers and video makers some unforgettable material!
To help our digestion after lunch, we decided to spend the entire afternoon in one way: RACING!
We have been splitted in groups of 7-8 cars; each group spent 10-15 minutes inside the race track, than another group came in. After 2-3 hours, We saw a lot of finished tires and brakes!
We hope to do something similar in 2016…someone said LE MANS?
