USA 2016 – Travel Diary – Day 08
DAY 8: PITTSBURGH – NEVER SAY GOODBYE

Every time you left a friend that lives abroad, after a quick visit, it is not a good sensation. Think about when you left more than one friend: even worst.
We step in Ford Performance again to say “See you soon” to John, Trent and Nick.
John was a source of inspiration. His passion was contagious; without his book probably I will not be there writing this diary; It is funny to consider that books could give this influences to people life. 3 books changed my life and my point of view:
– “The Last Lecture”, Randy Pausch: completely change my point of view about life;
– “The Mustang Dinasty” John M. Clor: The passion transmitted from that book gave me the chance to start considering share my passion;
– “ The Art of War” Shun Tszu: Taught me good strategy for any job I had.
I had the privilege to meet John the last year for the first time; I like to consider him as a Mentor, as he probably is for Trent and Nick, too. So you will understand now why I can’t leave without say to them “See you soon”. But there was a special gift waiting for us there, that I hadn’t considered: A Tour of the Ford Building around Dearborn with a Fantastic 2015 Shelby GT-350 test car. Another amazing experience that let us felt privileged once more in this trip.
We closed Ford Performance door behind us just before lunchtime.
Leaving Detroit with a storm behind us was the second good news of the day; As much closer we were from Pittsburgh as better weather we had over us.
